WIPC:E Registration is now open!

 

To participate in the Conference you must submit a registration form with payment. You may register online and pay by credit card or download the form from the website and forward a cheque or EFT payment.

 

Please note all participants, including speakers and chairpersons, must register with payment.

 

All prices are inclusive of GST and are in Australian dollars.

Accommodation

A full listing of accommodation options is available on our accommodation page; please select your preferred option prior to completing your registration form.

 

To secure the discounted rates on your accommodation we recommend that you book through one of our preferred agents and not direct with the hotels.

 

Accommodation at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne and Rendezvous Melbourne can be booked within the conference registration form, below.

Day Registrations

(available Monday or Tuesday or Thursday) $330.00

Entitlements

Elders/Students/Participants Registrations include:

  • Optional participation in the Welcome to Country at the Aborigines Advancement League on Sunday 7th December
  • Optional participation in the Conference Closing Celebration on Thursday evening 11th December
  • Conference sessions Monday/Tuesday/Thursday
  • Option to participate in the Half Day and Full Day Site Inspections and Tours scheduled for 10th December
  • Morning and afternoon tea daily Monday/Tuesday/Thursday
  • Conference handbook and satchel

 

Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate and must hold a student identification card from a locally or internationally recognized tertiary or secondary educational institution.

 

A copy of the student identification card is required when you submit your registration form. Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged. To complete your registration, please fax or email a copy of your card to the Conference Manager

Payment Of Fees

Full payment of fees is required before registrations can be processed and confirmed.  Payment can be made in the following way:

Credit Card

Visa, Masterard and American Express are accepted. Simply click on the link on the WIPC:E website to complete the registration form. Complete your details and submit. For your records please print off a copy of the summary page prior to the clicking on the ‘submit’ button.

Cheque Payment

Please make cheques/bank draft in Australian dollars payable to “WaldronSmith Management WIPCE” and mail with the completed registration form to:

International delegates please note cheque payment must be received by way of an international bank draft in Australian dollars which states an Australian drawee bank. We cannot accept personal or company cheques.

Confirmation

On receipt of your payment and registration, a confirmation letter will be posted/emailed to you. It is advisable to check all items listed. Any changes or alterations must be made in writing to the Conference Managers.

Letter of Invitation

The WIPC:E 2008 Secretariat will be pleased to send an official letter of invitation upon request. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates raise travel funds or obtain a visa. It is NOT a commitment on the part of the Organising Committee to provide any financial support. Please indicate on your registration form if you require a letter of invitation and one will be forwarded to you with confirmation of your registration.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Any changes or cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers.

 

Please note registrations can be transferred to another member or your organisaton at no penalty costs however notice must be provided in writing to the Conference Managers.

 

However if the registration is to be cancelled the following penalties apply:

 

  • If a cancellation is received prior to September 30 2008, a full refund is made less a $75 administration fee
  • If a cancellation is received prior to November 07 2008, a refund equal to 50% of the total amount paid will be maintained
  • If a cancellation is received prior to December 7 2008, no refunds will be made

Privacy Statement

Information provided on the registration form will be used to administer the Conference including accommodation (where applicable), catering, transport, sponsorship and exhibition. Data obtained will be remain the property of WIPC:E 2008 and WALDRONSMITH Management.
