Conference Venues

WIPC:E 2008 will be held across three main venues, each chosen for its functionality and suitability to host different aspects of the conference.

The Aborigines Advancement League

This important icon in the development of Aboriginal Affairs in Victoria and nationally, has been identified as an ideal location to hold the opening of the conference on Sunday the 7th of December 2008.

Rod Laver Arena & Melbourne Park Function Centre

Due to the expected delegate numbers the Rod Laver Arena and the Melbourne Park Function Centre have been selected for the main conference event.

The Sidney Myer Music Bowl

The Sidney Myer Music Bowl, with its parkland setting, will host the closing and cultural celebration on the 11th of December.
